Thanks, Shlomo.

Let’s get started:

1) "Do you have a work routine?”

Expectations: Surfing. Writing. Posting. Emailing. Cooking. Reading. G'night.

Reality: I'll just write this headline real quick. Wait, how is it dark outside already?

2) "What do you wish you'd known about your work when you first started?”

Creativity isn’t random.

You can practice it. Trigger it. Repeat it. And like with any other craft, there are tools that will help you when you're stuck.

3) “What did your biggest professional failure teach you?”

Good ideas require good vibes.

I can't create my best work in a toxic workplace (no matter how prestigious it is).

4) “Has anything helped you shorten your craft's learning curve?”

Writing a newsletter.

It pushes me to explore new techniques every week, no matter how busy I am.

5) “Do you have a book recommendation?”

Hey, Whipple, Squeeze This by Luke Sullivan

This book is like Red Bull. If I read it before bed, I get so excited that I can't sleep.

6) “Any parting piece of advice?”

Close your laptop.

Research is important, but the greatest ideas come from within.
