Someday, I will try to sell you something
It’ll be a product.
(I already sell a service).
A book. Maybe a digital course? (I’m not sure. What do you think?)
Either way, if you like the VeryGoodCopy blog, you’ll like the thing I try to sell you. (That’s my goal, anyway.)
But I’m not selling it today.
Today is Thanksgiving in America.
In a few hours, I’ll be driving to Kelsey’s parent’s house.
Kelsey will make deviled eggs like she does every year. Then we’ll get in the car, drive, knock, come inside, kiss, hug, smile. Then we’ll sit on the couch. We’ll watch da Bears (win, hopefully). There will be stories followed by comfortable silence. Football commentary. Comfortable silence followed by stories. Dinner. Double-baked potatoes. Miller Lite. Casseroles. Turkey. Gravy. Turkey. Gravy.
It will be nice, in every sense of the word. And I’ll turn off for a while. And I’ll think about the good things.
I’ll think about Kelsey, my nephews, friends, family, colleagues, my people.
And I’ll think about you…

Because you’re my people, too — and I’m grateful you’re here. Thank you.
Thank you for reading VeryGoodCopy. Thank you for being part of this. This unbelievable and unexpected, utterly strange, utterly lovely part of my life. It’s an honor to speak to you — and to all of you — this way.
I don’t take it for granted. Not at all.
P.S.
If you feel the same way, if you don’t take VeryGoodCopy for granted, please take a minute to leave a review.
I’ll publish it with a backlink to your own website, so you’ll get some traffic, some exposure, some Google juice to increase your search rankings.
And in turn, someday, when I’m trying to sell something, your words will lend some credibility to the product.
Nice win-win.
P.P.S.
If you already left a review, thank you again, friend.
