“Andy,” said the reporter, “a Canadian government spokesman said that your art could NOT be described as original,” she took a beat. “Would you agree with that?”
Andy didn’t hesitate. “Uh, yes.”
“Why do you agree?”
“Well because it’s not original.”
“You have just then copied a common item?”
“Yes, mhm.”
“Well why have you bothered to do that?” said the reporter. “Why not create something new?”
“Uh,” Andy took a beat, “because it’s easier to do.”
There are no rules, folks.
