I’d posted a Micro-Interview with copywriter, Ben Settle, on LinkedIn. 

Someone commented: “I want more details.” (Then she expounded in a specific, helpful way I really appreciated.)

I read the comment. Then I zoned out. 

Sydney barked. 

I snapped back.

“Gave me an idea, Dayana,” I wrote back.

“Thank you.”

I closed LinkedIn, opened a new Google doc and typed:

IDEA: invite folks who’ve already done a Micro-Interview to answer the same 6 questions but in more detail, with more color, and on a video call — like a follow-up, a Part 2 to elaborate, provide more context, and fill in any gaps...
??

“Like a podcast,” I told Kelsey. “But with video.”

“Ah, neat and simple,” she said. “What’re you calling it?”

“Get this,” I said all smug, “Micro-Interviews: EXTENDED!” 

“Mm,” she said. “MACRO-Interviews.”

“oh-kay-yeh-that.”
